So I've been working pretty hard these days trying to keep up with everything. Sadly, photography and photoshopping have taken a bit of a back seat for a while. I've stopped just blindly editing photos and really started focusing on why many of the ones I have (certainly not worthy of posting as deviations) leave me dissatisfied. I've fixed many of these issues, such as blurring with dynamic range instead of gaussian blurs (only a fool would do such a thing) and learning a LOT of color theory, especially as far as skin tone. I also have two major skin rebuilding techniques, which have only been displayed thus far on pictures of yours truly :p. My new Nikon D60 has helped a lot to, and I've been taking casual private lessons from a professional photographer or two.

The real exciting things are actually unrelated to deviantART itself though. I have started an awesome band with my twin called Blue Light Axiom (myspace, facebook, or acidplanet us) which will be releasing it's EP by the end of November. I am also a Technology Aid part-time for my school, which includes everything from cleaning out viruses that stupid college kids get, to building full scale professional grade websites.

Last note, before I bore you to death, is that I have recently discovered a drawing side to myself. I will soon be posting my latest artwork, and would truly appreciate constructive criticism.

Peace.

-Justin

Why thank you for the watch! There is something about your photography that is very striking (in a good way). Everything seems to have some meaning behind what we are seeing. More real than a lot that I've seen!

wow! that is by far ranked as one of the nicest compliments I've ever been given. It's words such as your own that serve as inspiration not only to me, but to artists everywhere. I truly appreciate it :deviation: :thanks:

It wasn't a compliment, it was the truth. I won't lie to make people happy ;)

thanks for the favorite. :) how are you??
:iconstopmotion0:
phenomenal =].

I bought a new camera, a Nikon D60, and now I'm working on seeing angles and transforming ordinary scenes into amazing things.

I'm also trying out some professional style editing, as well as getting back into the dark style I used to know and love.

It'll be interesting. Right now I'm so busy I haven't been able to update my deviant art much, but once my new camera gets in, I'm going to keep the art coming =]
:iconstkatherine:
sounds awesome. i'll be glad to see your new stuff!
